December 20,2022 I was seen by a Cardiologist for increasing chest pain ,SOB , elevated BP and fatigue..Echocardiogram revealed Stenotic Bicuspid Aortic Valve and dilated ascending aorta of 5cm.A week later I had CTA and was referred to a local cardiothoracic surgeon.I had a 2nd opinion with another local CT surgeon but ultimately decided for Cleveland Clinic..A week from the time they received all my documents and imaging , today March 24 ,2023 I got a call from CC nurse to come Monday for pre-op and Surgery on Weds.March 29,2023..I scrambled for flights and hotel last minute since I live in Charleston,SC. and I was able to book a week at Intercontinental suite adjacent to Cleveland Clinic..This incoming week is going to be interesting.I have a full schedule Monday and Tuesday for pre-op and the big day on Weds.I hope and Pray that all will go smoothly..
