About Me (In My Own Words)
I found out by accident that I had and ascending aortic aneurysm and needed surgery. I was living in Arizona at the time and was referred to a cardiothorasic surgeon and proceeded to see him. I soon after had what I call a miraculous intervention and knew I needed a second opinion in California where I was from.
So off to Cedar-Sinai where a friend of mine worked with the cardiologists. He knew I was apprehensive but sent me to Dr.Ali Khoynezhad, who my friend said was the best.
From the moment I met Dr. Khoynezhad, my fears had disappeared. Dr. Khoynezhad explained everything to me so I understood and answered all of my questions. He saw me in the hospital everyday after surgery with a smile and words of encouragement. His whole team is the best of the best.
Scar.....where is my scar? My entire chest bone was opened, yet my scar is hidden between my breasts. Totally incredible!!!
My recovery was minimal. I returned to work 8 weeks after my surgery.
Today I had my six month check up. I am totally healed, healthy and happy and beyond grateful for Dr. Khoynezhad and his team.
He saved my life!
