Misdiagnosed with asthma about 7 years ago when I was having some shortness of breath. I ended up in the ER last August with heart palpations. After my echo, they discovered I have severe mitral valve prolapse/regurgitation. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hashim and one week before the appointment I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. Pregnancy and delivery went well and baby Emily is healthy & happy! Have my TEE scheduled next week and surgery date of 10/12/17. I'm hoping that he can do minimal invasive repair, so I'll be able to pick up my little girl ASAP!!
