"Mini Thoracotomy was done. I can't say how amazing this doctor is. I healed well and without the reminder of scars that a conventional strenotomy would have let me with. Highly recommend him and his staff."

"My mitral valve was repaired via Thoracotomy. I have had an excellent outcome with no post operative regurgitation. I would recommend Dr. Hashim as an expert in his field. He is very confident which made me feel assured I'd have a successful surgery. Dr. Hashim's bedside manner is not overly warm and fuzzy. However, that is offset by his nurse, Sue, who is available by cell phone any time. Sue has complete access to Dr. Hashim and can answer any question you can come up within a very timely manner."

"The Doctor replaced my aortic valve twice, the first time was in 2000. Even though the first effort only lasted 7.5 years I was confident that he was the right man to do it again. He is a competent surgeon since 1975. He is on Yale's faculty and is the Director of Cardiac Valve Surgery. Post-operation, he visited me every day and inspected the progress of my wound each time. He is a complete & professional surgeon."
