About Me (In My Own Words)
A murmur was heard in Nov 2024 at my yearly physical. I had an echocardiogram in Jan 2025 which discovered that I have a bicuspid valve. It was moderate and I was asymptomatic. July 2, 2025 I had a stress echo. At that time I had been consistently having low blood pressure for over two weeks. Low blood pressure has never been an issue for me. I was also having headaches and was short of breath. During the stress part of the stress echo my blood pressure flatlined… stayed low despite getting up to the target 155 bpm. My aortic stenosis is now also severe. Headaches continue, shortness of breath has gotten worse and I am at times dizzy.
