Our heart valve program is dynamic, high volume (> 500 procedures annually) and outcome driven. We perform all procedure for mitral, aortic and tricuspid disease and complex multi-valve disease and endocarditis.

This video shows several of our transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) patient success stories. TAVR does not require an incision to patient's chest or the use of a heart-lung machine.

Our Thoracic Aortic Surgery Program is rapidly growing, has a vibrant and comprehensive specialized clinic that provides diagnosis, follow-up and surgical treatment for all diseases of the thoracic and thorocoabdominal aorta. We have 2 surgeons and 2 APRNs on our team that manage 3 weekly clinics and discussion forums. Problems treated include: all types of thoracic aortic aneurysms, aortic dissections, acute aortic syndromes, coarctations, aortic thrombus and connective tissue disorders.

All operations are performed including open, endograft and hybrid procedures. There is an interest and expertise in procedures such as aortic dissection repair, aortic valve preservation surgery, bicuspid valve repair, Ross procedure and complex aneurysm surgery. Our outcomes are comparable to those of any Aortic Center of Excellence in the country.
