Mitral valve prolapse diagnosed when I was 18. Last November 2018, I had pneumonia and broke 2 ribs coughing and through the x-rays for that they saw some enlargement of the heart....so.... Had an echo that was inconclusive, had a TEE that showed a flailed p2 scallop and severe regurgitation. Having a cardiac cath next week on 9/11/19 and surgery which will be open heart on 10/29/19 at 0745am.
