Hi - I'm Lisa :-) I'm from Kentucky, but I live in Chicago where I work in production/scheduling for an audio studio during the day, and the rest of the time I'm an actress & writer. I am 29, and was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse in August of 2011. In May of 2012 I was diagnosed with Severe Mitral Regurgitation and Ventricular Tachycardia. After getting several opinions, I am moving forward with Mitral Valve repair surgery on June 25th 2012. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Patrick McCarthy of the Blum Cardiovascular Institute at Northwestern Memorial in Chicago.
