I had gone to an interventional Cardiologist to have my varicose veins treated. He saw a pulsation in my right carotid and told me this needed to be checked out first. He listened handed me his stethoscope and sure enough I heard the murmur. He scheduled me for an ECHO and yest Severe Aortic regurgitation was noted. He referred me to Dr. Robert Riley who completed the work up and did a minimal invasive bovine aortic heart valve replacement. I am now 3 weeks 3 days post op.
