I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and diagnosed with aortic stenosis. I have been followed bi-yearly via echocardiograms and office visits. My last echo showed that my valve is now in the severe range and tests confirmed that the valve needs to be replaced. I have slowed down a lot the last year and have experienced a lot of fatigue with exertion so I wasn't too surprised. I am now trying to figure out what valve to go with for the replacement and am looking forward to the support of this wonderful community!
