About Me (In My Own Words)
I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve. Over the past few years I definitely started to feel the impact on my daily activities. Cardio became really difficult, I was having trouble catching my breath while lying down at night, swimming became impossible.
I had my aortic valve replaced on 2/14/25. It was done as a minimally invasive procedure and used a bovine / tissue valve.
I'm feeling better but certainly not 100% still.
