So my surgery is now less than 2 weeks away and my anxiety and nerves have pretty much kicked in! My doctor says about 7 hours from start to finish and a 6 day stay at the hospital. I have always gone for the past 20yrs for my echo to be proactive and watch this aneurysm, but when the words came out of the doctors mouth that it was time, it was as if I was hearing it all for the first time! I am ready to get this over and behind me, but still scared all the same!
