About Me (In My Own Words)
I’m a 37 year old father of two (Avery is 3 and Ryan is 1), my wife and I live in Texas in the DFW area.
Roughly 10 years ago, I was told I had a heart murmur and I needed to go see a cardiologist. The cardiologist found I have a bicuspid aortic valve. I’ve been monitoring this ever since.
In February 2025, I started to get dizzy spells when I was exercising, this led me back to my cardiologist who ordered a TEE. Based on the results of my TEE, my cardiologist recommended I seek a heart surgeon to discuss valve replacement.
I’ve decided to move forward and get my valve replaced before the end of this calendar year, my wife and I are so looking forward to this procedure being behind us!
