At age 40, on Veteran’s Day at my first visit to establish care with a PCP he heard a diastolic murmur and ordered an ECHO.
Here we found bicuspid aortic valve, AV regurgitation and aortic aneurysm.
I had never known I had this.
Surgery is scheduled two months from initial diagnosis.
