About Me

I had emergency repair of mitral valve in 2002 all arteries totaly clear. No pre warning . Now this dr says it is from phen fen for two years. I hadn't had problem in two years I took. Repair went well. Now my valve has failed calcium blocking. Circum flex artery 80 % blocked all others totaly clear no symptoms. But will have to have bypass . Research shows this is artery that can be occluded during valve repair. I am discouraged. Statistics not good for re repair or replacement with bypass for women. I am in perfect health except for heart. Once again this happened fast went from mild leak to severe in 8 months. Symptoms started 2 months ago. I scheduled second opinion and surgery within 5 weeks. I am getting weak fast. Know I must do. However my mother just died June 9 and I am only child and executor. Haven't got my affairs in order. Iam only finding encouragement here thank you all. No one in my family ever had heart problems. Once again I am so glad I found this
