About Me

I was diagnosed with a bicuspid valve when I was 40. For the most part, the condition has been asymptomatic and I have not been on any medications. I'm 55 now and having an aortic valve replacement (ON-X) on May 13, 2024. I'm in good health but have added a couple days to my exercise routine in an attempt to be in better health for the surgery and recovery.
