I was asked on routine checkup in Nov if I had ever been told I had a heart murmur which I hadn't. I had breast cancer at the age of 32 so finding out at age 60 I needed a valve replacement was such a shock. I am almost 3 weeks post surgery. Also about 5 days after mechanical valve replacement I needed a pacemaker put in.
