Hello, I was diagnosed with barlow's mitral valve disease over 5 years ago and now it is time for surgery as my left atrium is severely enlarged, left ventricle is on the border line of being enlarged and my regurgitation is moderate to severe. After a lot of research (and there are many amazing doctors) I am going with Dr. Gillinov at the Cleveland Clinic.
