Hello, I was diagnosed with barlow's mitral valve disease over 5 years ago and now it is time for surgery as my left atrium is severely enlarged, left ventricle is on the border line of being enlarged and my mitral valve regurgitation is severe. After a lot of research (and there are many amazing doctors) I am going with Dr. Adams at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC.
