I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and I have had Aortic Stenosis my entire life. I had two angioplasties when I was younger and have been pretty stable since then. I recently formed an Aortic Aneurysm that will require open heart surgery and my aortic valve is at the end of the line as well (doctors have been surprised it lasted this long!). Due to my age and overall health, I'm a candidate for the Ross procedure. Has anyone had the procedure? How are you feeling?
