About Me (In My Own Words)
I am 70 year old living in Santa Rosa CA. I had been diagnosed aortic valve insufficiency since 6-7 years ago in Sharp Hospital San Diego, which was mild. It had become to severe situation by years. In Jan. 2023 I went Cedar Sinai Hospital to visit Dr. Chikwe who kindly suggested I should have an aortic valve replacement surgery. I made my decision and had my aortic replacement surgery in March 2023. it was unbelievable that dr. Chikwe made my incision 4 inch long only. My surgery was successful. I was took care of by her team seriously in ICU and discharged 4 days after my open heart surgery. It was a mazing that I was recovered so quickly. I feel an improvement every day in first 3 month. And back to my normal life////
