My cardiologist had been minding my aortic valve until suddenly there were changes. He made an appointment for three weeks later But my heart wasn't waiting. After being admitted to the hospital after being found near unconscious at home after not having picked up my newspaper for two days, I went to the e.r. was admitted and after three days in the hospital sent to a rehab unit where i went into into cardiac arrest. Then came CPR, etc. There's nothing like being in a medical setting to have cardiac arrest.
Right now I am in a rehab facility, my cardiologist is away, and I am here wondering.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Suggestions? I am 93 y.o., had a prior heart attack 21 years ago and am interested in knowing or hearing what you think about the possibility of another chance at life.
