Developed COPD symptoms. They became progressively worse. Went to a Cardiologist who immediately administered an ultrasound of the heart. 55+ % of blood being regurgitated. Immediately scheduled me for a TTE and later after seing results sent me to a Heart Surgeon. Surgeon indicated I would eventually suffer heart failure from heart being overburdened. I went into surgery the following week. Was able to repair both valves by placing an alloy ring in each valve. Used minimally invasive procedure by collapsing lungs and going through side of chest. Woke up in ICU breathing without any difficulty. Like night and day. Out later that week. Doing fantastically well now. Like having received a new lease on life.
