This valve story is about my husband. He had Rhematic heart disease in his childhood. He underwent mitral valve repair in his childhood. Now he is in his early 40’s. Now he was diagnosed with severe mitral stenosis, mild to moderate Atrial regurgitation and mild to moderate tricuspid regurgitation with pulmonary hypertension. But thing is he is completely symptom less. It was quite shock for us about his diagnosis. Our doctor said he should get mitral and aortic valve replacement and annuloplasty for his tricuspid valve. I am very much worried about his surgery.
