About Me (In My Own Words)
I got rheumatic fever when I was 12. One of 10 kids parents were too poor to attend to the strep throat. It burned by mitral and now it needs surgery. I am 76 now with chronic a fib to boot. I’m hoping for robotic at Cleveland Clinics but local cardiologist says that can’t be done for mitral stenosis. I sure hope he is wrong. Has anyone had the robotic surgery with mitral stenosis?
