I was diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse in 1976 several months before my high school graduation fast forward to 2012 Iwas working in laundry at Baptist so I saw the surgeon he said by the way you need a tricuspid valve so I had been told only the mitral was only ok ne I had done landscaper and construction work in early yrs of work life so on 11-26-12 I had my surgery 4 to 5 hrs on life support I was in hospital 8 days went home 4 of December 2012 first 3 weeks I slept alot had a wonderful Christmas that yr i had 2 surgeons work on my heart
