About Me

Had my surgery on 9-23 to replace my aortic valve with a new tissue valve the only problem I had was that when I woke up from surgery the tube in my mouth made it difficult for me to breathe I wrote a message that I wanted the tube removed so I can breathe I attempted to remove it myself the nurses held me down and removed the tube I was then able to breathe other than this problem with the tube everything else went well I was up and walking on my own on Thursday the 25th and was released on Friday morning 3 days in the hospital wasn't that bad the surgeon said he never released anyone this soon after surgery and I am doing remarkably well I have my full apatite and did not loose the weight I thought I would I am glad to be alive and able to breathe again and am going back to school nov 1 I see the cardiologist on the 28th and mite be able to go back to work next month I hope that anyone that is going to have heart surgery does not worry that much
