About Me

I found out I have a bicuspid aortic valve in my 20's. I found out I have mild stenosis and regurgitation at 39 and I just found out at 42 I have a ascending aortic aneurysm size 4.6. Within this month I am to have my second ct A and then be referred to Dr. Craig Elkins at Itegris Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City. I am going to see his views on what size we should wait for my aneurysm to get to before surgery and what type of surgery he recommends. I am hoping the Ross Procedure might work for me as I read that Dr. Craig Elkins and his father Ron Elkins have success with this procedure.
