About Me (In My Own Words)
I started experiencing dyspnea and wheezing at night back on Marcy 15 2010. I thought it was seasonal asmtha or a bout of severe bronchitis--albuterol inhalers did not really improve my breathing much and so I went to the internal medicine doc to see what he could find--he heard a loud 3+ murmur and I made an appointment with the cardiologist. On April 23rd the echo showed significant aortic valve regurgitation with left ventricular dilitation which was confirmed on April 29th with the TEE results and then again with the cardiac cath results on May 4th which also showed significant mitral valve regurgitation. So on May 26, 2010 Dr. Luber and his team will replace my aortic valve with a Edwards Bovine Pericardial aortic valve (maxima type) designed to least more than 20 years.
