Thinking with any luck at all you will soon be home and surgery will be a thing of the past. Hope all went well and hope you got the tiniest incision ever and that it was straight to boot! Might even throw in hope you didn't have any pain! Now we are dreaming.
Hope that all went well today for you. Hopefully you had a chance to read Adam's book, and read a few of the other journal entries from others who have experienced this surgery. Stay positive, and listen to your doctors and nurses for the next couple of days.
Glad you found this journal site, Bill. It is such an easy way to keep people informed on your status when there's not a lot of time or energy for all those phone calls. You will also meet lots of valve patients like myself who have been through what you're about to go through. There's also several who are in the holding pattern as they await their surgery date. I wish for you all the things you wish for yourself for your surgery. Where will your surgery be done? I had a mitral valve replacement (bovine) and tricuspid repair at the Cleveland Clinic on March 18th. Hope someone will keep us up to date on your successful surgery. Prayers to you.
