About Me

My Medical History is quite complex ! - 2010 EVAR THORACIC AORTA - 2012 CABGx3 - complicated course(ITU 7 days) - 3/2016 TAVR - AORTIC STENOSIS - 3/2016 Post TAVR Permanent Pacemaker for Complete Heart Block - 3/2017 Mild Mitral Valve Stenosis (left unattended) & need ongoing intermittent surveillance of residual mitral valve disease It has been two months since I under went TAVR but have side effects/ symptoms, as follows: - unusual tiredness - total lack of stamina - shortness of breath even walking short distance - disturbed sleeping pattern but feel sleepy during the day - constipation - voice sounds different - hoarse - ankle & leg swellings Whilst making decision for TAVR, I was told that after undergoing procedure I will feel noticeable improvement but in reality(after 8 weeks) that is not the case ! Do any one has experienced double valve stenosis and have been successfully treated by less invasive methods, avoiding open-heart surgery I feel frustrated and welcome advise or suggestion as to how to cope and wonder whether my lifestyle will ever be normal again ! Thank you Bharat PS 4 months since my procedure, I am feeling 80% better. Most post procedure symptoms have gone. Earlier this month, I had 6 monthly Echo & device check. I am pleased to say "All in Fine"
