Send Arthur a GuestbookAbout Me
August 10th, 2022 at my semi-annual check up which includes an echocardiogram my cardiologist told me it's time to replace my aortic valve, address the aortic aneurysm, and possibly repair the mitral valve. Years and years of getting a clean bill of health from these check ups (I also have a poor family history) it came as a bit of a shock to finally face the need for open heart surgery. So it's time to start the process of interviewing surgeons and anticipating becoming a member of the "chest zipper club".
December 15th, 2022. Surgery is booked for January 31st, 2023. Recent MRI indicates my ejection fraction continues to drop. That said my catherization showed CLEAN pipes!
