Hard to believe they leave those in you. Yikes, I'd probably have an allergic reaction to it knowing me! Hope you feel better quickly🙏

Thanks for sharing pic of your wire Deb. It's interesting to see the size of it and the twist. I'm amazed I don't "feel" them all the time, though I do have occasional twinges that I imagine have something to do with my wires. Hope you are feeling more comfortable... Read more.

I've developed a lump at the top end my incision. I'm having my wires removed on Tuesday. The CT scan showed fluid over the wires but also lymph enlargement that concerns them (And me). Another thing to worry about.

Going home full OHS Aortic valve and aortic root replacement- nothing could have prepared me for the intense pain of this surgery- it took some time for doctors to get the pain in control- still so many hoses, wires and tubes everywhere- I went home day 6 post op- moving... Read more.
