Tara,I have had 2 cardioversion in the past 12 months.Both times in the emergency room.I know that is a little different than a scheduled cardioversion,but it was not bad.Make sure and ask for a bite plate.Have nothing on with metal.You will be put to sleep and wake up not remembering anything.I have been in trouble(can't breath,severe chest pain,heart rate 180-230)so when I wake up it is relief! You will better soon!

When reading your journals I saw the one about songs at church. The day before my surgery I heard my 3 favorite Christian songs while journaling about having surgery in less than 24 hours. I know that God had a hand in that programming.
Tara McCallister I was put on an IRon supplement and that helped greatly with how much I have improved.

Is it worth talking to your visiting nurse and doctors re: your level of pain? I know they do not want you in a lot of pain because it slows your recovery. My best.

Hi Tara and Mom Denise, Glad to hear you are ok and your surgeon was able to repair your valve. It sounds like the same thing happened to both of us except, the plan was to fix my mitral valve and it was. They did also have to do open heart surgery on me too, unexpectedly, only mine was because my sutures on my heart broke. So I'm praying you have a speedy recovery. Mine was very slow but here I am a year later. God has brought me so far from where I was so keep the faith.
