Hi Susan. My name is Nancy and and on Oct 2018 I had triple bypass and valve replacement. I understand being scared and the depression. Everyone will tell you thats normal.The first thing you think is whats normal about having your chest opened up. Sad but true depression and that scared feeling will be with you maybe a long time and even when you feel better those feelings can come back. Hope you have good support family friends that is what helps you get past those crazy periods that will happen. After having heart operations you are on a long road that really never ends. You have great days and you have days when you are scared to death and you do not know why.Just hang in there but remember perfect will never happen life never was and will never be. But enjoy your family and friends and good luck to you
