Steve I was wondering what valve did you decide on for your AVR? My husband had an AVR in April of this year and chose the On-X valve. His INR has to be around 1.5 which is not too bad but I am trying to thin his blood via 'natural'... Read more.

I did a lot of research, including the On-X valve, and decided that a bio-synthetic bovine valve was the best for me. I do not take any Coumadin and do not need to monitor INR, so I have no experience with that. My HR stays in the high 70's and... Read more.
