Yay Steve, way to go!!!
Hi Steve, just stopping by to say hello and wish you well on Tuesday. You will be in my thoughts and prayers and I know that you will do great! Hope you have someone to keep us updated until you can get back to your journal. God's speed and God bless!
Hi. I posted to you earlier & see that you have a date now & like us all. We wanna get it done & feel good again. And we will.
I go in feb 9. So I'll keep u posted. But all of these journals are good
There is one other. But in truth this is a bit friendlier. The other is more techy I do both & have learned from both & made great friends on both
Www.replacementvalve.org. If you feel like it.
Any way. Each decision you make will make the process easier. Age will partly determine the type of valve. Not always but in general
And nice to hear your cardio man has a sense of humor. Mine has the personality of a tree. But he's good
We love you Big Guy! You and Carleen are in our prayers. Keep the faith, God's not ready for you yet. I believe this will be used to help yourself and many others who go through trials to see the positive side of a Godly man. You and your family are greatly loved.
So glad you found this nice website Dad ! It's nice to have a place to go and read up on how other patients are feeling after they have gone through their journeys with heart surgery.
On the other hand, those of you reading this who may not know my dad Steve Gail, need to know that he is a very wonderful father, grandfather, husband, and friend. Your prayers, good wishes and encouragement are very much appreciated by all that know and love him!!! Thank You !!! Love Steve"s daughter, Gina
And for a personal note to my dad, we will see you through this Dad!! You are the most COURAGEOUS man I know!!! I love you !!!
Hi Steve, God bless you, you've had a tough road. I haven't had surgery yet, I have to wait until March 13th. I have thought for a long time that I was asymptomatic, but just recently have developed a nagging little cough, don't know if it is real or if I have conjured up a symtom knowing surgery is getting closer. I do know that some of the people on the HVJ site say you retain fluid used during surgery and they put you on lasix to get rid of it. I read one person gained 30 pounds during the surgery...sure hope that doesn't happen to me. Wow..Jan 26? That's pretty close now, I know you are ready to get it over with (I sure am). Hang in there, I will be praying for your successful surgery and speedy recovery.
Keep us posted!
Still waiting...Linda Dixon
Our family maybe small but we are strong. We will all be there for you. I know you will feel stronger than ever when its over because I'm not going to carry all your stuff through the boundary waters this summer!! I love you Dad
You will be so happy when it is over. The waiting is the hardest part. I am 6 weeks post op and back to regular activities including driving, working and not thinking about my journey much at all. Good luck to you.
