Welcome, Stephen. There is so much help on this site. It has been a life saver for me. Leading me to my surgeon and hospital, as well as introducing me to a world of information from others going through the same thing. I am 11 days post-op from aortic valve replacement and aortic root enlargement. I had a bicuspid aortic valve and critical aortic stenosis. I am doing great now. The surgery and so far the recovery has not been as bad as I imagined it would be. I hope yours will be the same.
