Scott, you are not alone in being apprehensive or suffering depression. You have fellow soul mates here. As for a support system, you may probably be discharged from the hospital to a rehab facility until you get on your feet. And then have home visits from nurses and aides afterwards.... Read more.

Do you have good neighbors or co-workers? I got a lot of support from both. I had my husband at home to take care of me, but no other family close by. The neighbors and co-workers helped with rides, food, and occasional dog-sitting. Don't be afraid to ask; most people... Read more.
