Hi Sandie- I am so glad your surgery went well. It is absolutely amazing what the heart docs can do. My husband had emergency quadruple bypass surgery in 2006 at AZ Heart at age 34. One week were vacationing in San Diego, the next we were spending the night at AZ Heart. I am so glad you have such a strong support system of friends and family because I truly believe that helps one heal faster. I am sending you my warmest thoughts for a healthy recovery. Take care!
I am so sorry to hear that you have to go through a re-operation for your mitral valve.
I had mitral valve repair surgery on May 29, 2012 and the 6 weeks post op echo showed a moderate leak in the valve. They are watching me and once I finish cardiac rehab at the end of Octover will have an echo stress test to see how the valve is functioning under the stress of exercise.
I will follow you journal and be praying for you and following your posts. Take care and God bless,
Good Morning Sandie. Not much to say today, except God Speed my friend. Hey, if it were me, i'd slip those docs a few extra bucks & get some Hollywood Boobs while they're in the area. :D
All joking aside. my prayers are with you.
Sandie, Sandie, Sandie! I'm sorry I didn't know you were going through all of these heart woes. Remain strong, pray and know God is hearing those prayers. I will pray for your uneventful, rapid and complete recovery. I'll also keep Emily and Erin and your parents in my prayers. Use your sense of humor to get through the days ahead.....it's always been one of your best attributes! Love you lots, Mary Rhees
You are Pretty
You are Smart
You are loved so much Sandie by everyone.
When you think of this bask in how Much God Loves you to the moon and back and how incredible that is! Especially considering how much Emily and Erin love you.
All will be good, and soon you will be home and over all of this.
I so enjoyed our time this weekend, I love you very much and know this
Love is Patient..Love is Kind. It bears all things...Love Never Fails.
I love you Sandie, my prayers are continous for you and what comes to me so strongly is to tell you to just be incredibly present to how much everyone loves you. This is such a Blessing and such a vital pulse...to be loved. What an incredible thing..to be loved.
Michelle(Your Sister, better clarify as you know gazillions of Michelle's!)
Hi Sandie, Michelle James (mj) here.
Medical technology is amazing isn't it.
So Friday it is, huh! I will be thinking of you. Your heart may need a tune-up but it's already full of kindness, which will always be in perfect running condition. Hugs to you. Xo
Sandie- You are already well on your way to healing (you just have to get this procedure behind you!) Meanwhile, you have many friends and family on your side, by your side and all around. Always remember that you are in everyone's thoughts and prayers during this whole process. As always, I am right here with you, with all my heart. You are my inspiration! -Andrew
Well, this is your way older Sister, Michelle just blogging a note back to tell you how much I love you. I think that this journal will be good as you'll be able to read back about your feelings, both physical and emotional, but you'll see your journey and how the Lord will be with you all the way. Try writing a prayer and place this somewhere in your Bible. You can pick a passage or just randomly. Write everything down every scary thought, every question you want to ask God, the good the bad the ugly. Then tuck it in your Bible. Someday you'll come along that passage and you will see how God answered your prayer. You'll come to that passage again in your life searching for some differen answer, but you'll see how God heard you now and He will hear you again. We love you so much Sandie. Michelle
Hi Sandie, Welcome to HVJ. You will find this site very helpful. Sorry you have to go thru all of this again. My thoughts and prayers will go out to you. God will be there for you and get this done again. Good luck to you and your family. You will fly thru this again and come out for the better.
Mooving on up
I can't even imagine the shock of hearing your repair has failed, but I guess it can happen to any of us. My heart goes out to you and your family, and you will be in my prayers in the days ahead.
There are several other people on this site who have had their second OHS due to failed
repairs. One is Chris Hanson......might be worthwhile to contact him. You can look him up and read his journal on this site.
Sandie, I know you can do this. You have already been there and done it. You are strong and full of determination. I pray for you to have a fast recovery and to be filled with love and harmony, peace and hope. Please let me help by bringing your family a meal. Hugs and love to you and all your loved ones.
You can do it! :) Just remember you are one tough cookie, you have the strength of a 1,000 men and the perseverance to over come the biggest of obstacles that get in you way. I think starting this blog is a great idea. It is very healing to write out your feelings! I will be a cheerleader for you! Go Sandie Go!!! :) p.s. I like talking to you!!!
