Roger,
Wishing you a great outcome for your surgery. My surgery is just a few days after yours; I can understand that you are most likely in “full preparation” mode now... whatever that might mean for you. Anyway, thinking of you and sending you “good vibes” and blessings. All the best.

Roger, Best wishes for a successful surgery. I had open heart surgery 16 years ago for an aortic aneurism, a double bypass and an aortic valve replacement. Fortunately, they rebuilt my valve eliminating need for a mechanical or biological valve. I've been in great health since the surgery and have annual echo's. I just turned 80 and I have mild to moderate aortic stenosis. I'm hoping my echo results this month don't show a worsening. Age takes it's toll! First few days after surgery are tuff, but hang in there. This to will pass.
Peggy McPhilimy posted a note for Roger that says:
Good luck to you!

Good luck to you!
I have the same thing and I am just waiting for the surgeons to call with the procedure date. Are you able to get the TAVR procedure?
I am excited to follow your story as it seems similar to mine, except I have no coronary heart disease.
I lived in Columbus for ten years and that is a great hospital!
I am now in The Phoenix area. Wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️🩹
