We were hoping Naomi could come home yesterday, but they wanted her digestive issues to resolve, and be sure she makes good progress on walking, showering, etc.. Living two hours drive from the hospital might be a consideration, too. We think she'll be able to come home on Tuesday, so I can drive to Seattle after my afternoon classes. Today I had my leg cast removed, x-rays, and since the healing is going well, I'm in a support boot, for gradually increasing weight-bearing. For now, I still need to use the knee scooter or crutches, but I can get around better than before.

Naomi Gray Hi Susan, thank you for welcoming me. I'm very overwhelmed by what's ahead of me, including the preparation and recovery process after the surgery. Reading the posts by the members here really helps me getting a better perspective and destructing from chest pain and anxiety.
