Doing good thankfully. Having a little tachycardia but my doc says that will hopefully get better in the next few weeks. 🙏
Miriam, I am having the same challenge now. It started a couple days ago. Today my heart rate was above 135 for a few hours before some medication helped bring it down. It's a bit scary to be sitting in bed and having a heart rate that says I'm doing... Read more.
It is definitely scary ! I was put on metoprolol and they had to lower the dose due to some side effects I couldn't tolerate. Nausea and dizziness was too much for me. I'm trying the lower dose for a week and hopefully it helps. If not they will try... Read more.
I had same thing for about six weeks. Seemed like the rapid heart rate would send me into afib/aflutter which would send me to the hospital. Your body has been through great trauma so it's reacting. Godspeed.
I guess it's comforting knowing that this is fairly common. I am taking carvedilol and had to increase from 25mg to 50mg when an episode happens. It's working for me. For now I am ok and will monitor further. It helps knowing that I have a plan if it continues... Read more.
