I had both bouts around 2 to 2 1/2 months post surgery. The second time, I was leaving work and thought I may have to go to the ER, but I didn't. I take it, you are referring to the pericarditis. It is terribly painful. I didn't have the pain... Read more.

Cameron Peek

The ER ruled out a blood clot and told me to see my cardiologist and my gastroenterologist. The pain was slightly better this morning but by night it is increased.
