My mitral valve replacement was in Dec of 2012. I am in the Orlando area and Dr Kevin Accola is my surgeon. He did my mitral valve replacement 10 years ago with a bovine valve and will do the valve-in-valve procedure tomorrow through the groin using the Edwards Sapien valve.... Read more.
