Hi Mel, i am from Toronto-Canada. I have had OHS/AVS on Nov. 23/15. You can say i am three month's post/op and thank God i am progressing fine. Started my rehab about 5 weeks ago and it's great,simply because you're monitored. I am also 69 and used to do a lot of running, but i also enjoy dancing, but i just don't get a chance to dance anymore. Have you decided with which type of valve you're going with. I had a porcine valve put in. In any event you must be in great shape, so you will recover fast i am sure. So i wish you the very best with your surgery.........and keep dancing.
