Thank you ! I am three weeks out from my surgery. Got a mechanical valve this time and doing well. Eating well and taking walks too. So far so good! Wish I could have had the TAVR but did not qualify. All is good though!

I had my second Open Heart surgery in January 2025. I was referred to Dr. Craig Baker at Keck USC Hospital by several surgeons. My advice is that you have to have confidence in the doctor you select and their team. Talk to the surgeon about any concerns you have.... Read more.

Thank you for responding. I have done really well with the surgery and recovery. I went to Brigham and Woman's hospital in Boston and am happy with the surgeon and cardiologist. So far so good! I appreciate your good wishes!
