Hey Lucian and family...I am a fellow heart valve journal who has TOF and just had my valve replaced 12 weeks ago. There\'s not too many of us TOF patients around, my doctor keeps saying they are learning on us and our future prognosis is really good with the new technology...I have been following your story this last week and having been thinking about you. will keep you in my prayers as you recover, especially about the fever. hang in there!

You are truly blessed to have such friends and family.

The journal is a great way to keep everyone updated without making and answering 100's of phone calls.
Additionally, I understand it has helped many of Lucian's friends understand the circumstances. I'm sure it was very scary for some of his friends to see him have to go through this surgery. I hope it gave all of you enough information to explain to your kids exactly why he needed this surgery...a learning experience for everyone!
