Wow, what a story. It sounds as if you are solid on the mechanical valve with the Coumadin. I wish you all the best. Look forward to future posts as you move forward and prepare and prep for surgery.

Welcome! I had those problems also. I got a valve replacement and aortaplasty (sp) think my aneurysm wasn't real out of line, maybe borderline. Prayers to you in finding the surgeon and facility. Lots of good choices and the technology is advancing daily.
