Lillian, this is Mia from michigan. So nice to hear from you. I was actually on the heart valve site, when your post came across. You have been through so much. Congrats on finishing rehab. You are going to get thru this! Think of all the things that are behind you. Live each day to the fullest when possible. Write me whenever you want. My email is: kidsjunction@gmail.com. Daniel Spurgeon I'm staying quite busy, thanks. The weeks fly by, but I do my best to appreciate the people in my life. I took my kids on a bike ride in the Santa Monicas Sunday which had just received lots of rain and we got to see fresh mountain lion tracks (wider pad spacing, three lobed rear edge, etc). Beautiful cool day for a ride.

Mark Twain. Many times I have to re-think things before jumping to conclusions because I think I know the answer and it gets me going down the wrong path.

Good news. You got cleared for rehab. I begin mine next week- I'm 6 weeks post op. It's clear a lot of us are thinking of you and I hope our thoughts and prayers give you strength. It will be nice when you can put all the tests behind you. The positive is that it sounds like you are being looked at very thoroughly, which is great. Hang in there, I have a good feeling about you, you are going to pull through and do very well.

Lillian Mark Thank you Christine and all who have kept me in their thoughts. Christine, I wish you a fulfilling and progressive rehab experience.I do indeed fell supportive strength from those who offer it to me.I may not visit this network often,but I definitely keep so many of you in my thoughts, hope,care,and healthy wishes. Yes,I am being watched quite closely. I have been feeling more energy even with the beta blockers. Tomorrow my 21 year old youngest son is moving to Colorado, about 1 year ago he had moved back home with my husband and myself. I have enough energy to have prepared a breakfast for family and friend tomorrow just hours before he leaves.As happy as I am for him,he is such a neat man,that I will really miss him. Thanks again for responding💗💖

Hello sister Lillian, So good to hear from you. I know its frustrating to haver setbacks. Take each day slowly. Baby steps for now. Congratulations you made it thru the mitral valve repair. It is going well. They do kick my butt there. It is making me stronger each time that I go. Once you get stronger you can start cardiac rehab. You will get stronger and through this journey. Lillian, I have been thinking about you and want to thank you for posting a note. Glad to hear today is a good day for you. I can see why your body is wiped out, especially considering your circumstances last year. It seems like we all have different journeys in recovery, and I can see why yours would be super hard. So I look at your situation this way- you have it twice as hard as we all do post op the first few months of healing. That makes sense. Continue to keep those around you who can give you the strength and sanity when at times it feels like you have so little left....they will get you through those rough times. The strength is in you, and please know that I will be praying for a slow, safe, recovery for you. I am just shy of 4 weeks post op, and I am still healing, not getting out of the house everyday like you, but I do walk everyday and working on getting my lungs back to normal. It sure takes a while. Hang in there, and I pray that soon the dr visits will slow down a bit for you when it makes sense, and eventually your body will have fully recovered. Thinking of you. Christine

Do not worry about posting to all of us as you need some time to level off from the surgery as you will be aching and uncomfortable trying to get into a position to write and respond. We can wait now we know you have come through the surgery and so happy for you Lady! We are thinking of you and your Family and hope you take it easy and be patient with yourself. Hi, Lillian. I am hoping that all has gone well, that the surgery took place on the 15th as planned, and they are thinking about releasing you from the hospital soon. That would be great, as you would be on your way to recovery. I have thought about you this week as my surgery was also on an early Monday morning, and I was sent home Friday afternoon, so I'm hoping you will soon be either at home or in a rehab center to be taken good care of.
