Julie! I also had a mechanical aortal and mitral valve replacement 5 weeks ago. I'm recovering well, but the ticking noise is unbearable. It takes me a double dose of sleeping pill to fall asleep. It's really audible within 10ft in the quiet room, and I hear it ALL the... Read more.
